Overview:
Create a global data warehouse for a major manufacturing OEM to consolidate their procurement data from many different data sources into a centralized repository. Once the data had been cleansed and imported, it would need to be analyzed and reported on in order to make strategic business decisions to give this OEM a competitive advantage in the market place.

Solution:
JDM architected a solution that allowed for both quick wins and long term growth. It began with a star schema database, being populated via xml feeds from different divisions. The web based solution consisted of java J2EE based reporting and allowed for the creation of dozens of business intelligence applications. These applications help support all different areas of the supply chain including strategies, balance scorecards, risk analysis, material cost analysis and supplier market analysis.
