Overview:
Create a product data management (PDM) application that tracks multiple configurations of data models as they change. This is used with heavy modification to track all necessary vehicle configurations and the associated test vehicles and their test data results.

Solution:
Customized the Enovia Product Manager application to fit the needs of the Vehicle Certification group and other downstream users such as fuel economy and warranty. Added hundreds of attributes to support the business needs of the client and customized the client side GUI to accommodate these new attributes. Created an OOB reporting engine written in C++ that creates HTML output for the reporting needs of the business. Also automated data exports out of application to feed data via xml to other downstream systems.

Business Results:
The application was built under a very tight timeline and had to meet stringent specification to meet government regulations. The system was delivered on-time and improved the productivity of the client giving them a competitive advantage in allowing for quicker and more reliable testing and data.
